We don’t really celebrate Valentine’s Day but Charlotte had been talking about “love” at preschool so I thought we’d make a few cards this year. We had a couple of potatoes in the fridge which were past their best so potato prints seemed like the obvious choice.
We usually only use paints outside, but it’s pretty cold still, so we flattened a cardboard box onto the kitchen floor instead. Chop a potato in half, cut in a heart shape, blob on the paint, and stamp. Easy.
What we used:
Paint tray - unfortunately an old one and I can't find anything similar
Potato - from the back of my fridge!
