The tree is up, the school Christmas holidays are well under way, the pressies are wrapped, the food is in the cupboard, and the booze is in the fridge.

We’ve written Christmas cards, made gift tags, been to a Christmas market, read stories, and played games.
We’ve had a nativity, watched plenty of Christmas films, boogied to festive tunes, visited Father Christmas and been on a walk around the village to check out everyone’s Christmas lights.

So that’s it. After a pretty lazy Christmas Eve at home, where we’ve prepped veg for tomorrow, done jigsaws, tidied a bit, and watched films, all that’s left to do is wait for the kiddiwinks to fall asleep, and for Father Christmas to visit. We’ve left out the usual snacks of a carrot, mince pie, and a glass of milk for Father Christmas and Rudolph, he’ll hopefully leave some presents, and take the elves and the advent calendar back to the North Pole with him.
